at my graduation yesterday, it was Dr. Seuss “oh the places you’ll go” themed, so there were a lot of balloons and those other Dr. Seuss stuff and then at the end of the ceremony, this sack hanging from the ceiling opened and then balloons fell on us and then everyone started inhaling the helium and talking in chipmunk voices

it was so funny omfg

if u ever want to be a thememaker, consider it deeply. there are pros to it, but most of the time, it’s just cons. cons cons cons fucking cons. ya. like for example

  • people can steal your coding and not credit you AND DENY IT WHEN YOU CONFRONT THEM!!!!1
  • people fucking do not realize that if themes are licensed, stealing is ILLEGAL therefore they have comitted a crime. BET YA DIDN’T KNOW THAT. hahahahahaha ._.
  • when you make a custom theme for yourself, people steal your codes and don’t even credit you and when they do they PUT IN YOUR URL WRONG!! or they just go pull an ultimate asshole by stealing your entire theme :~)
  • People ask to edit your theme and publish it, change a font and say they edited it from you but REMOVE THE CREDIT FROM THE TH#EME. TF IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!1/1/1
  • Those people who just steal your coding/use your themes as basecodes and claim to be a “true thememaker” bitch please when that’s true, I’ll hump my lamp
  • Those people who remove credit
  • That Tumblr famous person who refuses to put credit
  • THIS ISN’T EVEN ONE MILLIONTH OF THE CONS OF BEING A THEMEMAKER.

I’m sorry.

I just am really tempted to take down my themes atm. But this is all true im srs

When you remove credit…

When you remove credit on a theme (when it’s not in your faq even, just removed completely), it honestly hurts.

I know you think, “oh, that’s so stupid, it can’t HURT.” But unless you’re a thememaker too– and thememakers reading this, you guys feelin me?– it honestly does hurt. You take your precious time to create a theme, you work so fucking hard on it, just so people can have a nice theme, so people can be happy with their theme, and people go on and remove the credit? It hurts. It hurts because they just treat it as if it's nothing.

No, no, contrary to your fucking beliefs, it’s NOT just nothing. It’s something I made, something I’m proud of. It’s like taking the Mona Lisa and erasing Leonardo da Vinci’s name from it. And when you see that person flouncing around with a theme that YOU made, not stating that it was YOU who made it, it HURTS. It doesn’t make us angry, it makes us HURT

THINK before you go completely creditless please, because I’m really devastated right now

wouldn’t it be nice to be in love with somebody and have the feeling be mutual for once instead of constant heartbreak idk just a thought
